Mandz started practicing yoga a few short months before she graduated from university. She initially needed to change her sedentary lifestyle and wanted to introduce more movement into her daily routine. She never expected Yoga to seep into every aspect of her life—what started out as a physical practice quickly grew into an exercise of mental and emotional awareness as well. She honestly believes that it helps her become a better person (and a better driver too).
She has taken multiple trainings and workshops with world-renowned teachers; such as the 200-Hour YogaWorks Teacher Training with David Lynch, 40-Hour Intensive Program with Jason Crandell: The Core of Being, 50-Hour SmartFlow Program with Leslie Kazadi: The Science and Art of Healing, 30-Hour Intensive Program Anatomic Yoga with Ray Long MD FRCSC, 15-Hour Precision and Play with Carrie Owerko, and Rehab Essentials with Chris Mallac.
Mandz is grateful to have the opportunity to share this wonderful practice, and she encourages each student to be aware and to practice discernment: when to push and when to pull back. Expect fun and energetic classes with a lot of alignment cues in her Vinyasa and FNR classes; balance the high energy, learn to cope, and befriend your inner self through gentle movements in her SFGF; and learn to give in to full relaxation in her Restorative classes.
