Yoga builds our body and mind’s ability to defend against disturbances. In asana, we have the opportunity to simultaneously affect the various components comprising and supporting our immune system, including the lymphatic system, the complement cascade, antibodies, the circulatory and nervous systems. In this workshop, we will explore how to approach our yoga practice to build our inner defensive system as well as specific asanas and sequences.
